Hello, my name is Bree Cain and welcome to Zinnia Waxing Studio inside Sundara Salon! I opened Sundara Salon with my good friend Jodie Swank in 2018.
I have been in the beauty industry for over 17 years, receiving my cosmetologist license from Xenon International Academy. I started waxing in 2006 and have since expanded to full-body waxing.
I am delighted to offer all-natural vegan hard wax and vegan products that are much gentler on even the most sensitive skin and causes less allergic reactions than most waxes that tend to be a bit harsher on the skin.
I love getting to know my clients and forming long-lasting relationships. When you’re in my salon, you’ll feel comfortable. When you leave, you’ll feel confident! Once you wax, you’ll never want to shave again.
I have several first-time client specials and offer a loyalty card to show my appreciation. I also offer a referral program because referrals are the best form of flattery! And friends don’t let friends’ shave. ;)

FAQ's
You've got questions, we've got answers!
Q: How long does the hair need to be to wax?
A: Hair needs to be about the size of a grain of rice around a ¼ of an inch.
Q: Will my hair grow back darker or thicker?
A: No! Hair grows back the same if not less/slower and finer over time because the hair is pulled from the root.
Q: How long do I have to let the hair grow?
A: After shaving about 2-3 weeks. If tweezed or waxed, 3-4 weeks and do not trim. It’s better for the hair to be too long than too short.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Everyone wonders how bad it hurts. It will depend on where you’re getting waxed because some areas hurt more than others. The pain is very short-lived and doesn’t last long. If you have been shaving prior to your first wax, it does hurt 50% less the second wax because the hair has now been pulled from the root.
Q: Can I wax while pregnant or on my period?
A: Yes! If you are on your period, please wear a tampon or a cup. You can be more sensitive while pregnant or on your period.
Q: How often do I need to wax?
A: Every 4 weeks! Hair grows in cycles.
POLICIES
Appointments
All appointments are by appointment only. By making an appointment, you agree to all of the policies of Zinnia Waxing Studio.
Late Policy
If you are more than 10 minutes late, I may not be able to accommodate your scheduled appointment. I will do my best to accommodate you, but I have to consider my other clients because if one appointment is late, it can affect the rest of the day's appointments. Please text or call as soon as possible if you are running late.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you! Because both of our time is important, I respectfully ask that 24 hours’ notice is given to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Strictly Enforced 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
All clients are responsible for remembering their appointment time. We help you remember by sending out a reminder 48 hours ahead of your appointment. When an appointment is forgotten or missed, I can no longer fill that appointment time and clients of Zinnia Waxing Studio miss the opportunity to receive services during that time. Any cancellations/no shows within 24 hours will be a 100% charge.
No Show Policy
Any ‘no show’ appointment, even if booked the day of, will be a 100% charge.
